The next quarterly Wide Bay forum is to be held on Sunday 28th February, in the Fossikers Room at the Gympie Civic Centre Complex. Directions have been emailed to each club

 For catering purposes, please RSVP no later than Friday 19th February, advising your club and delegates names.  It is recommended that the President or Vice President of our Swim Club attend, along with an additional delegate.

 We have also arranged for a Guest Speaker  -  Brent from JLT Insurance.  JLT Insurance are the agents who underwrite the insurance cover for Swimming Australia, Swimming Queensland and consequently, the swimmers of the Wide Bay Region.  This will be a very important session, not only for clubs hosting swim meets or running club night programs, but for every club in the region.

During the course of the day, we will be discussing the Wide Bay Calendar and our usual “Round the Clubs” to share information, network and assist each other in any way possible.  The opportunity will be set aside for those needing MM & TM training.

For those delegates who may not have attended a quarterly forum before, I encourage you to do so.

For those looking for an early “cuppa”, morning tea will be served at 8.45am, with the forum program commencing at 9.00am. 

 We will break for lunch around 12.00 and hope to be finished by 2.30pm.      … Hope to see you there

This will be our 4th annual presentation dinner  …  and we look forward to the opportunity to celebrate with EVERYONE !   Plans for the evening are coming together, with the venue booked at Gympie Conference Centre, Fraser Road, Gympie. 
 
There is very reasonably priced accommodation on site, so why not take the opportunity for a weekend away.  Stay overnight, join us for breakfast and stay on to attend the Wide Bay Quarterly Forum on the Sunday.
 
I will send out a poster as soon a details are confirmed, but in the meantime, why not organise with some friends from your club to make a group booking.  It will be a fantastic evening with lots to celebrate.  There are many awards to be handed out in recognition of individual achievement, squads, club participation and much more. 
 
The following awards will also be presented to worthy recipients :

     Wide Bay Achiever of the Year
     President’s Award
 
Please take the time for discussion at club level to consider nominating someone whom you feel shoulde be recognised.  ONLY ONE NOMINATION per CATEGORY per SWIM CLUB will be accepted.
